In the pursuit of any worthy endeavour,
the company of like-minded people is both a valuable
support and an encouraging presence in itself. In
the Siddha Yoga tradition, this good company is known
as sangham, the Sanskrit word for community of seekers.
The Siddha Yoga sangham meets all
over the world in many different ways. The sangham
gathers together in spiritual retreat at Gurudev
Siddha Peeth and Shree
Muktananda Ashram, or at regional
retreats held around the world. And the
sangham gathers for spiritual practices and study
in Siddha Yoga meditation centres and ashrams globally.
There are also gatherings for young people
and families.
As we come to perform practices
together, there is a synergy; the power of the practices
increases dramatically. When the collective intention
of people to advance spiritually is added to the power
of the Siddha Yoga teachings and practices, great
transformations are possible. In this section, we
invite you to explore the many ways to participate
in a Siddha Yoga community.
